Brief Description

A tummy tuck removes excess fat and skin in most cases restores weakened or separated muscles creating a firmer abdominal profile. This is common because of pregnancy, aging, significant fluctuations in weight.

How is the procedure?

A tummy tuck procedure requires a horizontally incision in between the pubic hairline and navel. Muscles are repaired and sutured while excess skin , fat and tissue is removed

Recovery time

A thin tube will be temporarily placed under the skin to drain any excess blood or fluid that may collect. There will be some swelling and most walk a bit crooked at the beginning. As well when you lay down in bed must maintain the position with pillows under your legs and head.

Stitches will be removed from 12 to 14 days and will wear a girdle for two months after surgery. After 21 days you will be able to return to your daily activities.
