Circular Troncoplastia
This means the removal of redundant tissue both the front (abdomen) and rear (back)
How is it done?
The patient usually has had bariatric surgery or who for other reasons have lost excessive weight these patients often exhibit excess skin and fatty tissue, falling by gravity and causing functional impairment and hygiene management. In the front a abdominoplasty is performed and On the back the same excess skin and tissue is removed, leaving a scar in both regions (back and front) like the abdominoplasty.
Recovery
The recovery process is slower than a tummy tuck. The care of post surgical drainage lasts about 7 days, within three weeks the patient would be doing around 80% of their daily work.
